In Morocco, according to official data from the High Commission for Planning, 5% of the population lives with a disability. In reality, this figure is likely much higher.
And yet, these citizens remain largely excluded from the workforce, despite a strength of character and resilience that commands admiration.
At Valyans, we deeply believe that the true richness of an organization lies in its ability to embrace all forms of uniqueness. Hiring people with disabilities is neither a favor nor an exception:
It is an opportunity to:
- Broaden perspectives
- Welcome unique talents
- And profoundly transform internal practices
Our CEO, Saadia Slaoui Bennani, has long been committed to promoting a responsible and citizen-centered business model. As Vice-President of CGEM and Chair of the Commission on Responsible and Citizen-Led Business, she carries this vision on a national scale—with both conviction and high standards.
Recently, a major step forward was taken with the signing of an agreement between CGEM and AMH (Moroccan Association for People with Disabilities).
This partnership aims to strengthen the employability and professional integration of people with disabilities by offering concrete solutions to the critical question: “how do we make it happen?”
Because beyond good intentions, it’s often implementation that poses the biggest challenge:
- How can workplaces be adapted?
- How can teams be supported?
- How can training be provided without stigma?
This agreement directly addresses those practical challenges by rallying Moroccan businesses around a more inclusive vision of the world of work.
We are proud to see Valyans actively contributing to this momentum—helping to build a more equitable, accessible, and humane economic fabric.
A paradigm shift is within reach: companies that embrace difference always come out stronger.
