Consulting Intern – Engineering Final-Year Project (PFE) – Casablanca or Rabat

At Valyans Consulting, a leading Moroccan strategy and transformation consulting firm, we have been supporting public- and private-sector leaders in Morocco and across the African continent for more than 25 years in their growth, operational and digital transformation, and performance improvement initiatives.

As part of our continued development, we are looking for final-year engineering interns (PFE) with strong analytical rigour, a real ability to structure complex problems, and the drive to quickly learn the consulting profession in a demanding, stimulating and impact-driven environment.

Mentored by experienced consultants, you will contribute to the fundamentals of the junior consultant role: understanding the issues entrusted to you, structuring analyses, producing reliable deliverables, and crafting clear messages that support decision-making.

Your role

As a consulting intern, you will actively contribute to our assignments, while being progressively guided by more experienced consultants. In particular, you will:

  • Collect, validate and analyse quantitative and qualitative data
  • Carry out benchmarks, diagnostics, sector analyses and modelling work
  • Structure information and build evidence-based reasoning that connects findings, analyses and recommendations
  • Contribute to formulating strategic and operational recommendations grounded in sector, technical and institutional realities
  • Produce working materials and deliverables that meet Valyans standards: a clear message, analytical rigour, polished writing and clean visual design
  • Help prepare workshops, client meetings and progress reviews
  • Make the most of the best research, analysis and production tools, including digital and AI tools, with verification, critical perspective and sound judgement
  • Gradually develop a reliable, committed and constructive professional attitude within project teams

Profile sought

  • Education:
    • Final-year student in an engineering programme, looking for a final-year internship / PFE
    • Student at a leading Moroccan engineering school, such as EMI, EHTP or Centrale, or a French engineering school, such as Centrale, Mines, Arts et Métiers, INSA Lyon, CentraleSupélec, or equivalent
    • A specialisation in, or affinity for, strategy, transformation, operations optimisation or public/sector issues is a plus
  • Experience:
    • No extensive experience is required
    • An internship in consulting, strategy, transformation, finance, operations or project management will be highly valued
    • Academic, extracurricular, entrepreneurial, competition or hackathon experience demonstrating high standards, impact or leadership is an asset
  • Skills:
    • Strong capacity for analytical and structured reasoning
    • Strong rigour in handling information and data
    • Excellent written and spoken French
    • Professional English is a plus
    • Solid command of deliverables and tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
    • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand economic, sector, institutional and operational issues
    • Ability to learn quickly, take on feedback and progress in a demanding environment
    • Team spirit, reliability, autonomy and proactivity
    • Familiarity with data or AI tools, such as SQL, Python, Power BI, research tools or AI-augmented production tools, is a plus

  • Type: Final-year internship / PFE
  • Period: September 2026 to March 2027 or beyond
  • Duration: 6 months or more
  • Location: Casablanca or Rabat
